Apple fait comme s'il n'existait que deux modèles distincts d'iPhone 7 - l'iPhone 7 et l'iPhone 7 Plus. Outre cette distinction, la différence se fait au niveau de la capacité de stockage. Mais de nouveaux tests suggèrent que les versions d'entrée de gamme de 32 Go affichent des performances sensiblement moindres que les modèles plus coûteux. Et même au niveau de la capacité réseau 4G, des différences existent. Des tests menés par  GSMArena  et  Unbox Therapy  révèlent que la performance du stockage de l'iPhone 7 de 32 Go est significativement plus lente - d'environ 200 Mbps - que sur l'onéreux iPhone 7 de 128 Go, à respectivement 656Mbps et 856Mbps. Si BlackBerry a annoncé son intention  d'arrêter la production  de smartphones, il ne quitte pas définitivement ce marché. Au contraire, à peine plus de deux mois après la sortie du  DTEK 50 , le canadien annonce ce mardi le lancement de son successeur, le DTEK 60. Un défi de taille tant le fabricant a aujourd'hui disparu des radars (seulement 500.000 unités écoulées lors du dernier trimestre, un plus bas historique). At its annual Tech World event, Lenovo revealed the next step in its mobile strategy. The new Lenovo Moto Z flagship shows Lenovo's own take on modular smartphones, something the search giant has been trying to get off the ground for a few years. Then there's the Project Tango pioneering smartphone Phab2 Pro, which is Google brains running on Lenovo brawn. The Moto Z holds the most interest - not only for the MotoMods modules but also for continuing the legacy of the well-liked Moto X in spirit if not in name. MotoModding By the sound of it, Lenovo thinks modularity is the more practical way to customize a phone. The Moto X became known for the level of customization it gave users with Motomaker, but the need for fast shipping kept this option grounded in a limited number of markets and the phone never flew as high as its competition. The asian tester girl treats the UMI Super pretty harshly and after letting it fall from up to 2 meter height she stomps on it for good measure with a stiletto high heel shoe. And as a coup de grace it gets run over by a car. Keep in mind the UMI Super is not one of the rugged types so surviving the punishment with ease is something the company must be proud about.

Now on sale in China are both the new Meitu M6 and Meitu V4 smartphones with camera centric hardware, and quite lofty pricing. Both the new Meitu devices had been seen by GizChina readers before their launch through TENAA leaks, but today both phones got an official listing with final specs and pricing revealed. First up is the 3000 Yuan Meitu M6 which features a 2.0Ghz Mediatek Helio P10 chipset, 3GB RAM, 64GB internal memory, 5-inch FHD display and 2900mAh battery. The real crowd pleaser in the M6 though are the dual 21 mega-pixel cameras for plus front and rear facing flash for the ultimate in selfie action. Audio lovers will also be happy to see the M6 has HIFI audio, plus the iPhone inspired home button gets a fingerprint scanner and support for Chinese payment systems.
